Answer

This looks like a case of interference between the two interface cables.  Some background:  Inductive bands work by passing high frequency current through them and measuring their response, which changes with the area inside the wire loops.  High frequency current have a tendancy to 'leak' to nearby conductors (this is, infact, the principle behind radio transmission).  In our case the interfaces pick up interference from each other, which usually look like fast "wiggles" on the base waveform.  Interference is worst when the frequencies of the two bands are closer, and less when the frequencies are different.  Frequency of operation changes with time/battery voltage and of course - circumference of the patient.  This is why interference comes and goes as the frequencies change.

Therefore, we recommend the use of the Interface Cables 9101 & 9102 in parallel when using 2 belts.  The 9102 & 9101 use very different frequencies to prevent accidental matching of the frequencies.

In some cases one can stretch one band a little more, and release the other to shift their frequencies further apart.  It's always good to pass the cables as far away from each other as possible.
