Why do you use 2 different types of interface cables for the disposable flow sensors?

Answer

Our disposable flow sensors can operate in two different modalities:  as thermocouples or as thermistors.  The 1415v2 uses the flow sensors as thermocouples, providing a reasonable signal.  The 1410 uses the sensors as thermistors, providing a cleaner and stronger signal.  The reason we sell two types of cables is that the use of these sensors as thermistors is patented in the USA by another company, so we have to sell the 1415 in the USA.
