SleepSense sensors have two unique design features that make them more accurate when compared to video scoring.  One is the wide attachment tabs, insuring better alignment of the sensor with the body axis (unlike other sensors, which may rotate unrelated to the true body position).  The other is that SleepSense position sensors do not divide rotational angles into 4 equal sectors, as do other sensors.  Instead, we allocated a smaller angle to right and left positions, so that the patient must balance more precisely on his side to score left or right, just as you would do when looking in the video monitor.
